About the role
Backdropsource is looking for a hands-on SEO growth leader to take end-to-end ownership of organic growth across our international e-commerce stores. You’ll be accountable for strategy, prioritization, execution, and measurable traffic and revenue growth, not just rankings or reporting.

Experience:
5-7+ years in SEO, including 2+ years in a Lead or Manager role | Shopify Plus | Multi-country B2B e-commerce What you will own
• The SEO channel end to end across multiple country stores, with a clear 6-12 month growth strategy, a prioritized roadmap, and a monthly execution plan
• Realistic organic traffic, conversion, and revenue forecasts, tracked month over month against targets, with quick strategy adjustments when results are off track
• Identifying the 3-5 highest-impact opportunities at any point in time and focusing the team on initiatives that materially improve qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue
• E-commerce SEO across site architecture, collection and product pages, internal linking, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and other technical issues affecting discoverability
• International SEO across country-specific stores, including market-level keyword opportunities, localization, hreflang and canonical strategy, and prevention of cross-store duplication
• SEO content strategy and priorities, orchestrating writers, analysts, and other resources to create, improve, and refresh content based on search intent, commercial prospect, and business impact
• Performance analysis using GA4, Google Search Console, Shopify Analytics, and SEO platforms: what is working, what is not,



why performance changed, and what to do next
• Organic visibility across emerging search experiences, including Google AI Overviews, AI Search, AEO/GEO, and other AI-assisted discovery surfaces
• Close collaboration with content, development, design, and business teams to remove bottlenecks and drive initiatives to completion quickly What we’re looking for
• 5-7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including at least 2 years owning the channel as a Lead, Manager, or senior individual contributor
• Strong e-commerce SEO experience (Shopify / Shopify Plus and B2B or high-consideration commerce strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to build an SEO strategy independently, turn it into an actionable roadmap, and lead execution with a lean team
• Strong command of technical SEO, content-led SEO, international SEO, keyword and competitor research, and e-commerce information architecture
• An analytical and commercial mindset that connects SEO work to traffic, conversions, and revenue, not just visibility metrics
• Hands-on knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, Shopify Analytics, Semrush/Ahrefs, and crawling tools such as Screaming Frog
• Highly driven and outcome-oriented, comfortable challenging priorities, moving fast, and holding work accountable to measurable growth goals
• A clear story of past SEO ownership: starting point, problem, strategy, actions, resources, timeline, and measurable traffic/revenue impact What success looks like A focused SEO roadmap, fast execution, measurable month-over-month organic growth, and consistently increasing organic revenue.
