We are looking for a skilled Software Tester with 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright, API testing, PostgreSQL, and Jira to ensure the quality and reliability of web-based applications across LOS, NBFC, and HRMS modules.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and user stories; prepare test scenarios, test cases, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT-support testing across web modules, including LOS, NBFC, and HRMS.
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, following the Page Object Model (POM).
• Perform REST API testing using Postman and automate API checks within the Playwright framework.
• Write and execute PostgreSQL queries to validate backend data, data integrity, and database migrations.
• Log, track, and retest defects in Jira; participate in defect triage with developers and product teams.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and share test execution reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release sign-off activities.
• Maintain test data, test documentation, and QA status reports. Required Skills Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals, including SDLC, STLC,



test design techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), equivalence partitioning, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript, including locators, assertions, fixtures, and the POM framework.
• Knowledge of REST API testing, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and Postman; experience with API automation using Playwright request context.
• Positive knowledge of PostgreSQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, and data validation queries.
• Experience with Jira for defect and test management and Git for version control.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Soft Skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills for defect reporting.
• Ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in Agile sprints. Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Practical experience in both manual and automation testing is required.
• Experience with Playwright, API testing, PostgreSQL, and Jira is preferred.
