Role Description The Site Engineer – Geotechnical will be responsible for supervising and executing geotechnical activities at project sites in Chennai on a full-time, on-site basis. Daily tasks include overseeing soil investigations, coordinating field testing, monitoring drilling and sampling operations, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with civil and structural engineers, communicating with contractors and project stakeholders, and preparing concise site reports and documentation. The Site Engineer will support quality control of geotechnical works,



assist in resolving site-related technical issues, and contribute to the implementation of foundation design recommendations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and field management skills, with experience in geotechnical or civil engineering projects.
• Candidates should possess clear and qualified communication skills for coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with geotechnical standards, safety procedures, and project specifications.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of structural engineering concepts and be able to collaborate effectively with civil engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with geotechnical investigation methods, foundation systems, and relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings, technical documents, and geotechnical reports.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Chennai and travel to project locations as required.
