Role Description The Corporate Relations Manager at upGrad X will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with corporate partners and employers to drive collaborations, hiring opportunities, and brand visibility for the Bhubaneswar centre. This full-time, on-site role includes identifying potential corporate partners, pitching program offerings, coordinating corporate events, and managing ongoing engagement to support placements and internships for learners.



The role involves working closely with the career services and academic teams to align corporate requirements with program outcomes, gather feedback from employers, and translate insights into improved learner preparedness. The Corporate Relations Manager will also track partnership performance, prepare reports, and contribute to local market outreach initiatives, including industry sessions, job fairs, and networking events. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Corporate Relations and Business Relationship Management skills to build and sustain long-term partnerships with employers and industry bodies.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management, to engage effectively with corporate leaders and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess working knowledge of Finance to understand corporate budgets, ROI on partnerships, and commercial aspects of collaboration proposals.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify opportunities, pitch solutions, close partnership agreements, and meet defined outreach and engagement targets.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in education, EdTech, or talent acquisition; familiarity with placement processes; strong analytical and reporting skills; and proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in corporate relations, business development, or campus placement roles.
