• CTC: Market Standard Job Summary This Systems Engineer III will be responsible for helping to maintain and enhance our Windows-based infrastructure, M365 environment, and AWS cloud environment, as well as supporting our network resources. A detailed explanation of each responsibility is as follows: Responsibilities Required Skills
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to our National Support Center.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across on-premises, M365, and AWS systems.




• Monitor and optimize network performance and security.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Act as a liaison for initiatives and new technologies, ensuring effective communication with users and help desk support.
• Administer business SaaS applications and user access.
• Manage credentials and shared vaults in 1Password. Data Center
• Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems and servers, Linux as well.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups for on-premises and AWS servers.
• Manage virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
• Manage and administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Maintain domain controllers and Active Directory across on-premises and AWS.
• Provide access to and support for data platform servers and tools such as PostgreSQL and Power BI. Cloud
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services, such as:
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint Online
• Teams
• Defender 365
• OneDrive
• Intune/Autopilot
• Manage and administer Amazon Web Services (AWS), including:
• EC2 and Amazon WorkSpaces
• VPCs, routing, and security groups
• IAM users, roles,



and account access
• Site-to-site VPN connectivity
• Support the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS.
• Administer Entra ID app registrations, admin consent requests, and role assignments. Networking
• Manage and maintain infrastructure resources such as firewalls and network switches.
• Maintain connectivity between the data centers and AWS, including VPN tunnels, VPC routes, and firewall rules.
• Maintain the remote access VPN (SoftEther), including split-tunnel routes to AWS.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• 7+ years in a Systems Engineer role demonstrating experience in the above listed responsibilities and expectations preferred.
• Any certifications related to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Security, or network administration preferred.
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy preferred.
• Understands the OSI model.
• Experience with data center switches is preferred.
• Familiarity with data center-to-cloud interconnectivity is advantageous.
• Experience administering AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, WorkSpaces) preferred.
• Experience administering Entra ID, including app registrations and role-based access, preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
