We are looking for a hands-on Platform Architect to define and own the end-to-end deployment, runtime, and lifecycle architecture for our industrial data-collection platform. In this role, you will be the primary technical authority governing how our software runs inside mission-critical customer environments—spanning customer-hosted Windows servers and lightweight, resource-constrained edge Kubernetes appliances. You will design resilient deployment models, optimize resource budgeting, ensure seamless upgrades and rollbacks, and align platform interfaces alongside cross-functional security and software architects.

Key Responsibilities
● Platform & Runtime Architecture: Own the complete system architecture, sizing models, and runtime workplace across customer-hosted Windows Server infrastructure and edge Kubernetes appliances. ● Packaging & Lifecycle Operations: Design robust, automated mechanisms for deployment, seamless zero-downtime upgrades, atomic rollbacks, and disaster recovery (backup/restoration) in customer-managed environments. ● Resource Optimization: Conduct strict CPU, memory, and storage budgeting to ensure peak reliability on resource-constrained hardware. ● Networking & OT Security Integration: Define network and security architectures tailored for OT-adjacent and factory-floor environments (firewalls, proxies, VLANs, and isolated networks). ● Technical Leadership & Alignment: Lead platform design reviews,



mentor engineering teams, and collaborate directly with Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and Software Architects to ensure clean component interfaces. Key Qualifications & Skills Must-Have

Requirements:
● 10+ years of experience in Platform Architecture, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture for complex, distributed software. ● Kubernetes & Virtualization on Constrained Hardware: Hands-on expertise running lightweight Kubernetes clusters or virtualized environments on constrained edge hardware, including precise memory and storage budgeting. ● Windows Server Architecture: Deep knowledge of Windows Server environments, automated installers (MSI/Inno/WiX), system services, and domain/workgroup identity models (Active Directory). ● Edge Lifecycle Management: Proven track record designing deployment, zero-downtime upgrade, automated rollback, and backup/recovery strategies for edge and customer-hosted environments. ● OT-Adjacent Networking: Strong understanding of network architecture, segmentation, and security considerations when deploying near Operational Technology (OT) networks. ●

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● Communication: Exceptional oral and written technical communication skills with a track record of driving consensus across architectural domains.
