Role Description The Articled Assistant will work full time in office at the Mumbai office, supporting audit, taxation, and accounting assignments under the supervision of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers and schedules, and helping with documentation and compliance for various regulatory requirements. The role involves maintaining books of accounts, supporting the preparation of financial statements, and helping with tax filings and related queries. The Articled Assistant will also conduct basic research on accounting and tax standards,



coordinate with clients to gather information, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. The position is designed to provide structured practical training aligned with professional chartered accountancy requirements. Qualifications
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing concepts.
• Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation, including compliance and return preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Ability to work diligently in an on-site, team-based environment and manage multiple assignments.
• Enrollment in or eligibility for a recognized Chartered Accountancy course (or equivalent) is preferred.
