About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lean Manager with 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing and a strong background in CNC machining. The candidate will be responsible for driving Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing processes. The role requires a hands-on professional who can identify production inefficiencies, reduce waste, improve productivity and quality, optimise machine utilisation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a CNC machining environment. Important: Hands-on experience in CNC machining/manufacturing is mandatory and non negotiable. Candidates without relevant CNC machining experience will not be considered. Candidate Requirements
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, industrial engineering or continuous improvement.
• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in CNC machining and CNC-based manufacturing operations.
• Positive understanding of CNC machining processes, production workflows, machine setup, tooling,



cycle time optimisation and shop-floor challenges.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping and root cause analysis.
• Experience improving productivity, reducing manufacturing costs, minimising rejection and improving machine utilisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into practical shop-floor improvements.
• Experience leading teams and driving cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline preferred. Ideal Candidate A hands-on manufacturing professional who combines strong CNC machining knowledge with Lean Manufacturing expertise and proven team leadership. The candidate should be capable of driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost and operational efficiency.
