Role Description The Senior Barista role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, managing food preparation for café menu items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Senior Barista will lead by example on the café floor, support junior team members, and help ensure consistent standards of product quality and customer service. Daily responsibilities include engaging warmly with guests, handling orders and payments, managing inventory of coffee and supplies,



and contributing ideas to improve service and café operations. The role also includes helping to foster the café’s culture as a welcoming space for conversation, creativity, and community. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including espresso-based drink preparation and familiarity with coffee brewing methods.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming and engaging guest experience.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with guests, collaborating with team members, and coordinating busy service periods.
• Candidates should possess basic Food Preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
• Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment, especially in a senior or lead barista role, is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible schedule, and manage peak-time pressure while maintaining quality and composure.
