Role Description The Australian Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities for Australian clients, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards. Key tasks include processing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll calculations, BAS and GST-related work, and assisting with year-end audit requirements. The role involves reviewing financial data for accuracy, preparing management reports, and coordinating with client teams to resolve queries and clarify accounting issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Anand,



requiring consistent collaboration with colleagues and overseas stakeholders as well as adherence to client deadlines and compliance expectations. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and familiarity with Australian accounting and taxation practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB, or similar systems) and solid skills in Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to perform accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of periodic financial and management reports.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with international clients and team members, including clear written documentation.
• High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work to strict timelines and multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications related to accounting or Australian taxation are an advantage.
• Experience in a public accounting firm, shared services, or outsourcing environment supporting overseas clients is beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Anand and to adapt to shifting client needs, compliance changes, and process improvements.
