Head of Finance Build the Finance Engine for Enreap’s Next Phase of Growth Pune | 12+ Years | Finance & Accounts | Leadership Role | Reporting to CEO About Enreap Enreap is a bootstrapped technology services company with five entities across multiple countries and markets, delivering Atlassian, AWS, DevOps and SaaS services. As Enreap scales, we are building a finance function that can support expansion, acquisitions, capital planning and a listed-grade governance roadmap. Role Overview: This is more than a traditional accounting or controllership role. As Finance Head, you will own Finance end-to-end and become a strategic partner to the CEO and business leadership. Your mandate is to build a high-performing, technology-enabled finance function that delivers trusted numbers, protects cash and margins, enables better business decisions, and is ready for the scrutiny of auditors, investors, regulators and the Board. You will lead a finance team of 10+ across five entities, including the Accounting & Finance Operations Manager and FP&A; Lead. You will have clear ownership of credit holds, revenue recognition and cost approvals, with CEO escalation primarily on policy matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Controllership & Business Intelligence
• Own the monthly close and consolidated financial reporting across all entities.
• Build decision-ready MIS covering revenue, profitability, cash flow and working capital, with visibility by entity, market, practice and business line.
• Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts and variance analysis, ensuring one consistent set of numbers across Finance, Sales and Delivery.
• Strengthen financial discipline, reporting accuracy and management visibility across the business.
• Complete the adoption and stabilisation of NetSuite and establish it as the single source of financial truth.
• Design processes and controls so Finance Operations can independently run the close without day-to-day dependency on the Finance Head. 2. Treasury, Cash & Capital Management
• Own treasury, collections, payables,
working capital and cash conversion.
• Develop financing plans across entities, including working-capital facilities, debt and equity.
• Define capital-allocation principles and evaluate investments based on return, risk and strategic value.
• Partner with the CEO, Sales and Delivery teams on deal economics, pricing and margins.
• Identify margin leakage across quoted, delivered and booked economics, and challenge assumptions with data before major decisions. 3. Governance, Compliance & Audit
• Ensure timely statutory, tax and regulatory compliance across all entities, including GST, TDS, ROC and transfer pricing.
• Own relationships with statutory, internal and tax auditors and ensure timely completion of entity-level and consolidated audits.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, policies and governance frameworks, with a focus on eliminating avoidable penalties and missed filings.
• Assess gaps against listed-company standards and build a practical roadmap towards listed-grade governance, including Board and Audit Committee reporting. 4. Strategic Finance, M&A; & Investor Readiness
• Drive the finance workstream for fundraising and strategic capital planning, in partnership with advisors, bankers, auditors and legal counsel.
• Lead financial due diligence, valuation, deal modelling and funding-structure analysis for acquisitions.
• Build financial models for expansion and acquisition opportunities and provide data-led recommendations to the leadership team.
• Lead post-deal financial integration and track returns, synergies and value creation from acquired businesses. Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a proven Finance Controller / Finance Leader who has built, transformed and scaled a finance function — ideally within a 150–500 employee technology, IT services or SaaS environment.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts; technology services, IT services or SaaS experience preferred.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; CMA or MBA (Finance) is an advantage.
• Experience managing finance across multiple entities, preferably across multiple countries.
• Strong command of controllership, P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and business finance.
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation and finance-process automation.
• Strong exposure to treasury, budgeting, forecasting, statutory audit, taxation, compliance and internal controls.
• Exposure to fundraising, M&A; and/or a listed-grade governance roadmap is highly preferred.
• Comfort working directly with CEOs, Boards, auditors, bankers and external advisors.
• Proven ability to build, mentor and lead high-performing finance teams. Leadership Traits We Value:
• Company-first mindset — puts Enreap’s business outcome ahead of functional priorities.
• Commercially minded — sees the whole business, not just the ledger.
• High ownership — turns strategy into execution and builds accountability within the team.
• Data-led challenger — brings facts and financial insight to critical business decisions.
• Action oriented — diagnoses issues quickly and drives decisive next steps.
• Builder, not firefighter — creates systems, processes and teams that scale without constant intervention. The Impact You Will Make: This is a high-impact leadership chance for a finance professional who wants to shape the finance architecture of a growing, bootstrapped technology business. You will have the mandate to professionalise the function, improve business economics, strengthen governance and help prepare Enreap for its next stage of growth.
