About the Role
Katyayani Organics is looking for a proactive and results-driven PR Executive with hands-on experience in media relations, journalist pitching, press releases, and securing media coverage. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in pure public relations and the ability to build strong relationships with journalists and media houses.

Key Responsibilities
• Pitch stories and company announcements to relevant journalists and media publications.
• Build and maintain media lists and relationships with journalists across relevant publications and industry beats.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, company announcements, and media notes.
• Secure media placements and track coverage, publication links, and campaign results.
• Coordinate media interviews, press interactions, product launches, exhibitions, and corporate events.
• Support brand reputation management and crisis communication activities.
• Monitor media coverage, competitor PR activities, and relevant industry trends.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging across external communication channels Qualifications &

Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Public Relations and Media Relations.
• Practical experience in journalist pitching, press releases, media outreach, and securing media placements.




• Candidates with agency experience or exposure to Agriculture, FMCG, D2C, Sustainability, Chemicals, or Manufacturing industries will be preferred Required

Skills:
• Media pitching and journalist relationship management.
• Press release writing and corporate communications.
• Media list development and management.
• Proven media placement and coverage tracking.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Hindi and English.
• Research, presentation, and stakeholder management.

Requirements:
• Willingness to work onsite from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
• Strong hands-on experience in pure PR activities, rather than exclusively SEO, copywriting, content writing, or social media management.
• Ability to explain at least one recent media placement, including the pitching process and outcome.
• Familiarity with journalists, publications, and relevant media beats. Preferred Profile:
• PR agency background, including agencies such as Avian, Edelman, Weber Shandwick, Communicate India, Burson, Adfactors, or Pepper.
• Existing journalist contacts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, or Hindi-language media.
• Exposure to agriculture, FMCG, D2C, or sustainability communications.
