Role Description The Quality Manager is a full-time, in office role located at the Grofresh Agrofoods facility in Tumkur. This role is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities across processing lines for IQF and frozen fruits, vegetables, pulp, and purees. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing quality standards, supervising inspection and testing procedures, monitoring compliance with food safety regulations, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. The Quality Manager will lead audits, investigate non-conformances, implement corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement.



The role also involves training team members on quality protocols and supporting certifications and regulatory inspections. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems in food processing, including QA/QC procedures, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Experience with inspection, testing methods, and documentation for frozen foods, fruits, vegetables, pulp, and purees.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve processes and product quality.
• Skills in leading audits, coordinating with regulatory bodies, and maintaining compliance with national and international food safety regulations.
• Effective leadership and team management capabilities, including training and mentoring staff on quality and safety practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar quality-focused role within the food or agro-processing industry is preferred.
