Company Overview: Curio Crafts specializes in manufacturing luxury interior decor, architectural metal casting, brass and aluminum artwork, and sculptural furniture. We are looking for an expert to lead our precision casting operations for high-end bespoke pieces. Job Overview: You will be the technical lead on the factory floor for our investment casting (lost-wax) process. You will oversee everything from wax pattern creation to the final pouring of molten brass and aluminum. Your primary goal is to ensure that every casting meets luxury-grade standards with flawless surface finishes and zero structural defects.

Key Responsibilities
(Day-to-Day Tasks):
• Process Management: Oversee the complete lost-wax casting cycle: wax injection, tree assembly, ceramic shell coating (stuccoing), dewaxing, and molten metal pouring.
• Quality & Defect Control: Monitor metal temperatures and alloy composition (specifically brass and aluminum) to prevent common casting defects like porosity, shrinkage, or surface inclusions.
• Production Planning:



Coordinate with the design and finishing teams to ensure daily and weekly casting targets are met on time.
• Mold & Pattern Optimization: Work with pattern makers to ensure wax molds are dimensionally accurate and properly gated for smooth metal flow.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage shop-floor foundry workers, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols during high-temperature pouring. Requirements &

Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in a foundry or investment casting unit (experience with non-ferrous metals like brass and aluminum is highly preferred).
• Technical

Skills:
Deep knowledge of metallurgy, gating systems, and shrinkage allowances.

Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field is a plus.
• Attributes: Solid problem-solving skills on the factory floor and the ability to manage a team of workers effectively.
