About The Role
As an Assurance Manager, the individual should be a qualified CA/ACCA with excellent leadership skill. The incumbent gets an excellent opportunity to work virtually or directly with clients across United Kingdom and develop knowledge of international accounting and assurance principles.

Key Responsibilities
• Support a portfolio of clients, by leading a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates (Qualified/Non-Qualified)
• Ensure the team delivers timely and high-quality work, as per Audit methodology and in line with the client’s expectations
• Demonstrate strong understanding of audit methodology in service delivery and supporting various audits
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key client personnel




• Build credibility with clients by developing awareness of the client's sector and competitors, and the impact on Pierag's work.
• Proactively discuss workflow management with client, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards.
• Take responsibility for fees, budgeting, WIP management and billing for the client portfolio.
• Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing internally with Pierag team members and client.
• Establish expectations regarding value to be delivered to the respective aligned teams
• Work with the senior management and key client contacts to develop business and grow the team
• Standardize assurance processes along with leveraging best practices across one’s aligned clients or beyond
• Help team members grow by encouraging them to actively contribute to the team
• Lead by example, delegate work successfully and develop and maintain high performing teams
• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback and training.
• Use technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
• Act as the Performance Manager and take ownership of their performance development and career development process.
• Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team’s skills
• Actively participate in organizational initiatives, such as recruitment, diversity and inclusiveness, trainings, and others. Qualifications




• 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience (CA/ACCA or Equivalent) with either a mid or top-tier accounting firm, focused on external or statutory assurance matters for corporate and/or international clients.
• Prior exposure to UK GAAP audits (FRS 102, FRS 101, Companies Act 200G compliance, and ISA-UK methodology) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Audit experience of Indian clients (listed clients or large private companies) will be an added advantage
• Deep expertise in IFRS and auditing/assurance standards, complemented by a solid understanding of UK GAAP.
• Understanding of international GAAP and International assurance standards is an added advantage
• Experience of (and appetite for) business development activities such as targeting, preparation of proposal documents, proposal presentations and attendance of networking events. Skills & Competencies
