Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The CNC Machinist will interpret technical blueprints, select appropriate tools, adjust machine settings, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Daily responsibilities include inspecting finished parts for accuracy, documenting production data,



collaborating with engineers and supervisors on process improvements, and maintaining a safe, organized work area in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, including setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of CNC equipment.
• Proficiency in Machining and Milling processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Experience in Quality Control, including dimensional inspection, use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and adherence to tolerances.
• Prior experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar precision manufacturing role in metalworking or cutting tools production.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming basics (G-code/M-code) and familiarity with common CNC controllers is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating practices.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, machining, or manufacturing technology preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and colleagues.
