PLC/SCADA Development EngineerExperience: 5–10 years Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced PLC/SCADA Development Engineer with hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and commissioning automation systems for large-scale industrial process applications. The candidate must have practical development experience with both Siemens, Schneider and Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms. Mandatory Requirements and Responsibilities
• Must have hands-on experience on Siemens, Schneider and Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development.
• Must have experience working on large-scale process automation systems, involving multiple PLCs, distributed I/O, and centralized SCADA systems.
• Must be capable of independently designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting PLC programs for process control, equipment sequencing, interlocks, permissives, alarms, and control loops.
• Must have experience developing SCADA applications and HMI screens, including process mimic diagrams, equipment graphics, faceplates, alarm displays, and historical trends.




• Must have practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal/STEP 7, SIMATIC S7 PLCs, and WinCC, and Rockwell Studio 5000, ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLCs, and FactoryTalk View, as applicable.
• Must understand process requirements and be able to translate P&IDs;, process descriptions, and control narratives into PLC logic and SCADA/HMI applications.
• Must have a basic working knowledge of process field instrumentation, including flow, pressure, temperature, and level transmitters, control valves, actuators, and analog/digital signals.
• Must understand PLC–SCADA communication, remote I/O, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA.
• Must have experience in system integration, PLC/SCADA testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and in office troubleshooting.
• He/She must have developped program and screens for the processes involving electrical systems(i.e. Electrical heaters, Thyristor, Transformer, VFDs, various feeders etc.)
• Must be capable of independently handling automation software development, debugging, technical documentation, and project handover.
