Role Description The Support Counselor role is a part-time, remote position focused on guiding and supporting learners throughout their educational journey with Edzym. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to learner inquiries, offering academic and motivational support, and helping learners navigate their courses and training plans. The Support Counselor will monitor learner progress, identify challenges, and collaborate with educators to suggest appropriate learning strategies.



The role also involves maintaining clear records of learner interactions, providing timely feedback, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and provide empathetic support to learners.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple learner cases and maintain accurate documentation.
• Comfort with work from home tools, online learning platforms, and basic digital literacy.
• Background or interest in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity with learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Previous experience in academic advising, student support, tutoring, or customer support is an advantage.
