Experience:
10+ Years Kastech is looking for an experienced Ellucian Banner Administrator & Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain Banner environments for U.
S. higher education institutions. ?

Key Responsibilities
• Administer and support Ellucian Banner application environments across development, testing, and production.
• Perform Oracle database administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and backup/recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot Banner application, database, SQL/PLSQL, and connectivity issues.
• Support Banner 9 upgrades, patches, releases, and environment refreshes.
• Monitor database health, scheduled jobs, system performance, and operational alerts.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments and collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.



? Required Skills ✅ Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner administration and Oracle DBA. ✅ Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL troubleshooting skills. ✅ Experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and storage management. ✅ Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting. ✅ Experience with Banner upgrades, patching, and production support. ? Good to Have
• Banner 9, Application Navigator, and Banner administrative services.
• RMAN, Data Guard, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
• Experience supporting U.
