Management Trainee – Logistics Tech & Optimization (Focus: Logistics Automation, Inventory Accuracy, Optimization of Dispatching and Trips , Process Documentation) Job Title: Management Trainee – Logistics Technology & Optimization Role Type: Fresher / Trainee Role Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Management Trainee to drive technology, automation, and process optimization within our Logistics and Cross-Dock operations. Your focus will be on optimizing Dispatch workflows, ensuring system-to-ground sync, automating manual entries, and documenting every process to build a scalable, tech-enabled warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
(Tech & Optimization Focus) 1. Dispatch Optimization:
• Analyze or identify the bottlenecks in Dispatching and Delivering to the Concern Drop Points.
• Optimize the Route through the Drop Points and Ensure Efficiency.
• Work with the tech team to automate manual data entries (Ex: Crate Entries.)
• Should make the System Notify the Concern Stake holders for the Breach of Temperature and Stop Overs.
• Analyze the Solution for the problems in the Dispatch and the Receiving end of the Route. 2. Tech Documentation & SOPs
• Write comprehensive System SOPs for all — Inbound, Outbound, Returns.
• Create and maintain detailed System SOPs—step-by-step guides for using the Mid
- Mile dashboard, route planner, and reporting tools.
• Document integration workflows between Mid-Mile Logistics and Last Mile systems.
• Analyze the Data for the Daily Run Report and Make the MIS for the temperature Report for Primary and Secondary Vehicles. 3. Automation & Process Improvement
• Identify repetitive manual tasks (e.g: Crate Entry, Route Allocation for the Drop Points) and build macros/automated.
• Monitor key metrics: Km for the Vehicles, Picking Crates, Temperature and Stop over are Monitored Digitally and Should Ensure.
• Present data-backed recommendations to improve throughput and reduce turnaround time.
• Ease for tracking and making the system viable for all the Stakeholders in Logistics.
• Document troubleshooting manuals for common tech glitches (so ground staff can self-resolve).
• Maintain a change log of all system updates, new features, and process changes.
• Maintain the Doc for the Current requirements and Documenting these URD and BRD Documents.
