About the role
As our Social Media Intern, you'll own the planning and scheduling of content across all our brand accounts. You'll decide what goes out, when, and on which platform, making sure every account stays active, consistent, and aligned with our goals. You'll work closely with our marketing, design, and content teams, and your calendar will be the backbone of our social presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who already understands social media and wants to sharpen their skills on real brand accounts.

What you'll do
• Build and maintain a monthly and weekly content calendar for all our social accounts
• Plan the content mix (educational, promotional, engagement, behind-the-scenes) so feeds stay balanced
• Schedule posts, reels, stories, and carousels using scheduling tools, at the best times for each platform
• Adapt captions, formats, and hashtags to suit Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X
• Brief the design and video team on upcoming content and follow up so assets are ready on time
• Plan content around festivals, trending topics, industry events, and key business dates
• Keep a running list of content ideas and research what competitors and similar brands are posting
• Monitor engagement after posts go live and flag comments or messages that need a response
• Track weekly performance (reach, engagement,



follower growth) and share short reports with insights
• Maintain an organised library of posted content, captions, and assets for future reuse Prerequisites (must-have):
• prior experience managing or scheduling social media content (internship, freelance, agency, college club, or a personal/brand page with consistent posting)
• A portfolio, sample calendar, or links to accounts you've managed
• Hands-on experience with at least one scheduling tool such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Planable
• Working knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, including how content formats and audiences differ on each
• Understanding of basic metrics like reach, impressions, engagement rate, and saves
• Comfort with Google Sheets or Excel, and tools like Notion or Trello for planning
• Strong written English for captions and team communication
• Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple accounts at once Good to have
• Basic design skills in Canva or Adobe Express for quick edits
• Experience with short-form video trends (Reels, Shorts)
• Familiarity with Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, or Meta Ads Manager
• Knowledge of Telugu regional content
• A degree or ongoing course in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field What you'll get
