Company Description Mesha Engineering Industry Pvt. Ltd. operates a Die Casting division in Bengaluru that began in 1991 as a captive unit for high-precision aluminum castings and has grown into a leading vendor for a wide range of pressure die castings. The division is equipped with advanced high-pressure die casting technology and has a production capacity of 1,200 metric tonnes per annum. It is an ISO/TS certified facility focused on delivering quality products on time, with capabilities to produce aluminum and zinc pressure die castings ranging from 4 grams to 1.5 kilograms. The plant is supported by in-house tool design, development, machining, and assembly, enabling comprehensive die-casting solutions. The company is also expanding with a new production unit in Jamshedpur that will offer advanced features and manufacture high-quality notch bars and aluminum shots for steel manufacturing units. Role Description The Plant Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations for the Die Casting division. The Plant Head will lead production planning and execution to meet delivery timelines, optimize resource utilization, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring production performance, coordinating with maintenance, tooling, and quality teams, and driving continuous improvement in processes and efficiency. The role involves managing budgets,



controlling operational costs, and supporting strategic capacity expansion and technology upgrades. The Plant Head will also mentor and develop plant personnel, foster a culture of accountability and teamwork, and collaborate with senior management and key customers on operational and quality requirements. Qualifications
• Strong experience in plant operations and production management, preferably in pressure die casting or related manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.
• Demonstrated expertise in quality control, including implementation of ISO/TS and other relevant standards.
• Capability in budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization to improve plant profitability.
• Proven leadership skills, including team management, performance coaching, and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Knowledge of tooling, machining, and assembly processes associated with die casting operations.
• Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with familiarity in using production and quality data for improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
