Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced, safety-focused Part-Time Drone Pilot with practical experience operating small and medium remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS/RPA). The selected candidate will initially work on a part time basis, with the potential to transition to a full-time position as DAV expands its operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate small and medium drones for testing, inspection, and facade-cleaning operations.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks and assess site-specific risks.
• Plan missions, monitor telemetry, and maintain accurate flight logs.
• Assist with drone assembly, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and system testing.
• Coordinate with engineering and ground operations teams during field deployments.
• Follow applicable DGCA regulations, operational procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Support pilot training, operational documentation, and continuous improvement of flight procedures. Required Qualifications




• Minimum 400 hours of drone flight experience, preferably supported by flight logs or other verifiable records.
• Hands-on experience with small and medium RPA/UAV platforms.
• Good understanding of drone hardware, flight controllers, GPS, telemetry, batteries, and mission-planning software.
• Strong piloting, navigation, situational-awareness, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work at operational sites and around high-rise infrastructure while following strict safety procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable Indian drone regulations and airspace restrictions.
• A valid, applicable remote pilot certificate or other relevant qualifications, where required. Preferred: Experience with industrial drones, autonomous flight, Mission Planner, ArduPilot, Pixhawk, facade inspection, or payload integration.
