Health Advisor (Pharmacist Customer Support) About Truemeds Truemeds is a Mumbai-based online pharmacy and telehealth platform, founded in 2019 by Akshat Nayyar and Kunal Wani. Our goal is simple: make healthcare affordable and accessible for every Indian. We help patients, especially those on long-term medication, save money by switching to quality generic substitutes of their prescribed medicines. Our team of doctors and pharmacists helps patients understand their options, and we deliver to over 22,000 pincodes across India. Truemeds is backed by investors including Accel, Peak XV Partners and WestBridge Capital. The Role As a Health Advisor, you'll be the pharmacist on the other end of the phone for our customers. Part advisor, part sales: you help people understand their medicines, guide them on diet and use, and show them how switching to a generic substitute can cut their monthly bill without compromising on treatment. This is a fully remote role. You'll work from home, connected to your team lead, trainers and quality team online. What you'll do
• Call customers who have ordered or enquired on Truemeds and walk them through their prescription.
• Explain how and when to take their medicines, common side effects, and precautions.
• Recommend generic substitutes for prescribed branded medicines, explain how they compare (same salt, strength and dosage form), and help the customer make an informed switch.
• Share general diet and lifestyle guidance relevant to the customer's condition, such as for diabetes, blood pressure or thyroid.
• Convert conversations into orders and meet daily and monthly sales and quality targets.
• Handle customer questions and objections patiently, in the customer's own language.
• Follow up with customers on pending orders and refills.
• Follow call quality standards, customer data privacy rules and pharmacy regulations at all times. Languages we're hiring for You must be fluent in speaking at least one of these languages. You'll be assessed in it during the interview.
