Role Description The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies required for Pintola’s production operations. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for vendor identification, negotiation, contract management, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The role includes monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production and warehouse teams, and optimizing purchase schedules to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. The Purchase Manager will analyze market trends and price fluctuations, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Day-to-day tasks also involve preparing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve procurement efficiency. Qualifications
• Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor identification, negotiation, and contract management.




• Experience in inventory management and supply chain coordination, preferably in FMCG, food, or manufacturing sectors.
• Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures to support data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documentation).
• Solid understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and food safety considerations in procurement.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a purchase or sourcing role with responsibility for raw materials and packaging will be highly beneficial.
