Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Zoology and Botany, based at Shri Khushal Das University in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Zoology and Botany, designing and delivering lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in line with the university curriculum. The Assistant Professor will prepare lesson plans, develop learning materials, assess student performance through exams and assignments, and provide academic mentoring and guidance. Responsibilities also include engaging in research and scholarly activities, contributing to curriculum development,



participating in departmental meetings, and supporting co-curricular initiatives. The role may involve coordinating laboratory work, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues on academic and administrative tasks. Qualifications
• Postgraduate degree (e.g., M.
Sc.) in Zoology, Botany, or a closely related discipline; Ph.
D. in a relevant field is highly preferred.
• Strong subject-matter expertise in core areas of Zoology and Botany, with the ability to teach both theoretical and practical components.
• Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including skills in classroom management, student engagement, and use of diverse pedagogical methods.
• Experience or interest in academic research, publications, and participation in seminars, conferences, or scholarly activities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in planning and conducting laboratory sessions, maintaining lab records, and ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
• Basic familiarity with educational technologies, such as learning management systems and digital teaching tools.
