Role Description The Lead Engineer will be responsible for driving the design, development, and optimization of high-performance, scalable systems that power TBO’s global travel platform. This full-time, on-site role in Gurugram involves leading a small team of engineers to build a 0-1 product. Typical day-to-day activities include hands-on coding, mentoring team members, troubleshooting complex production issues, improving CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to technical roadmaps and architectural decisions. The role also requires staying current with emerging technologies, proposing innovations that enhance platform reliability and scalability,



and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Qualifications
• Strong experience in software design and architecture, including microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven platforms.
• Proficiency in up-to-date programming languages (such as Go or similar) and frameworks commonly used in large-scale web applications.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), automated testing, and deployment best practices.
• Adept at using coding agents for development and building agentic applications.
