What You Will Do Are you excited by the opportunity to make trusted data easier to access, understand, and use? As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable virtualized data products and semantic-layer solutions using Denodo, AWS, APIs, and up-to-date data-engineering practices. You will partner with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, AI Engineers,



and business subject-matter experts to deliver governed, reusable, and AI-consumable data assets. What You Can Expect
• Develop and maintain Denodo view layers and virtualized data products using enterprise naming, metadata, and development standards.
• Build and support reusable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations using AWS services, APIs, cloud platforms, and operational source systems.
• Create canonical data models and semantic-layer entities that enable consistent reporting, analytics, applications, and AI use cases.
• Optimize Denodo performance through caching, accelerator strategies, query tuning, and effective join and aggregation design.
• Troubleshoot complex data-integration and performance issues while collaborating with architecture, engineering, AI, and business partners. What You Will Bring
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Denodo development experience.
• Strong knowledge of virtual data models, data integration, SQL, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, ETL/ELT development, APIs, web services, and data-product development.
• Experience implementing join strategies, aggregations, union operations, transformations, and data-standardization frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams to deliver trusted, governed data assets. What will set you apart?
• Exposure to AI or agent-engineering ecosystems and LLMOps concepts.
• Experience building AI-consumable semantic-layer solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise metadata, naming conventions, and business-data standards.
