Job Requirements Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Product Quality Engineer I (PQE I) with hands-on experience in QA Automation using Selenium and Playwright with Java/Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and contributing to automation framework development. The role requires a valuable understanding of web application testing, API testing, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies, along with strong programming fundamentals and a quality-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
• Contribute to automation frameworks using Java or Python
• Create reusable and maintainable automation scripts for Web applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Develop and execute basic API automation tests using tools such as RestAssured / PyTest
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and collaborate with developers for resolution
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
• Participate in CI/CD automation and integrate test execution into pipelines
• Work closely with developers, product teams, and senior QA engineers to understand requirements and testing needs
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and release validation activities

• 2–4 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET / Software Testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts
• Basic to intermediate experience in API testing/automation
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and defect management Good to Have
