SAP MM S/4HANA Implementation Consultant

5–9 Years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP MM S/4HANA Implementation Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management, procurement, inventory management, and end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, SAP MM configuration, testing, integration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support. Candidates should be comfortable working from the Bangalore office and attending a face-to-face interview.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and stabilization.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional solutions.
• Configure SAP MM processes including:
• Purchasing and procurement
• Purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• RFQs and quotations
• Release strategies/workflows
• Goods receipt and invoice verification
• Inventory management
• Stock transfers and transfer postings
• Physical inventory
• Vendor/subcontracting processes
• Consignment and special procurement processes
• Work on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and integration with Finance.
• Configure material master and vendor/business partner-related processes in S/4HANA.
• Work on Business Partner/Supplier integration in SAP S/4HANA.
• Configure pricing and purchasing conditions, including condition techniques where applicable.
• Work on account determination, valuation, and automatic postings.
• Support integration between SAP MM and FI, SD, PP and WM/EWM as required.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.




• Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for RICEFW developments.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Support data migration, data validation, cutover planning, and mock/final data loads.
• Participate in go-live and hypercare activities.
• Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis and functional solutions.
• Prepare configuration documents, process documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
• Work closely with business users, technical teams, project managers, and other functional consultants. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–9 years of overall SAP MM experience.
• Robust hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA MM.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM.
• Good understanding of purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, invoice verification, and material master.
• Experience with S/4HANA Business Partner/Supplier integration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM integration with FI and other modules.
• Experience in functional specifications, testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
• Good understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and project life cycle.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills. Good to Have
• SAP S/4HANA MM certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba integration.
• Exposure to SAP EWM/WM integration.
• Experience with IDocs, interfaces, APIs, and integration scenarios.
• Experience in SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience in S/4HANA migration or transformation projects. Interview & Work Location ?
