Brave Futures is hiring an experienced F5 BIG-IP Consultant for an opportunity with one of our global clients. Locations: Bengaluru, Mumbai or Hyderabad Joining preference: Immediate or short-notice candidates Mandatory certification: Active F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) – Exam 201 Position Overview This is an F5 BIG-IP-focused position requiring strong hands-on experience in BIG-IP administration, configuration, production support and troubleshooting, along with practical Kubernetes exposure. CI/CD, programming and DevOps automation are not primary requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, administer and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP platforms.
• Manage BIG-IP LTM components, including virtual servers, pools, nodes, health monitors, SSL profiles, SNAT, persistence and load-balancing methods.
• Support BIG-IP GTM/DNS, Wide IPs and traffic-management policies.
• Configure and troubleshoot iRules, SSL/TLS and high-availability environments.
• Support ASM/Advanced WAF and APM environments where applicable.
• Diagnose application-connectivity, traffic-flow, SSL-handshake and performance issues.
• Support the deployment or operation of F5 components in Kubernetes environments.
• Work with Kubernetes Services, ingress, application routing, load balancing and service connectivity.
• Perform BIG-IP upgrades, patching,



backup, restore and failover activities.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security and network teams during deployments and production incidents.
• Maintain configuration documents and operational procedures. Mandatory Requirements
• Active F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) – Exam 201 certification.
• Strong hands-on experience in F5 BIG-IP administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong BIG-IP LTM experience.
• Experience with BIG-IP GTM/DNS.
• Practical Kubernetes experience involving ingress, service connectivity, load balancing or application traffic.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, SNAT/NAT and high availability.
• Experience troubleshooting production application and traffic-related incidents. Preferred Skills
• ASM/Advanced WAF and APM
• iRules and traffic policies
• F5 Container Ingress Services
• NGINX or Kubernetes Ingress Controller
• OpenShift
• BIG-IP CLI and TMSH
• ADC migration experience
• Linux administration
