Role Description As a Web Development Intern at The Beus, you will help build and maintain modern, SEO-friendly websites and web applications for our clients. You will work with a Next.js, React and TypeScript front end and a Node.js back end with a MySQL database. Day to day, you may assist with building responsive pages and reusable components, creating forms and admin dashboard screens, connecting features to the database, fixing bugs, and following clean, well-documented coding practices, always under the guidance of senior team members. You will collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure websites are fast, visually compelling, user-friendly and aligned with brand goals. This is a remote internship role. You will work on real-world projects and gain practical experience with a production-grade web stack.



Tech Stack You'll Work With
- Next.js (App Router), React and TypeScript
- Node.js, Server Actions and API routes
- MySQL with Prisma ORM
- Tailwind CSS
- Authentication with Auth.js and form validation with Zod
- Git and GitHub workflows Qualifications
- Solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with the ability to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Working knowledge of React; familiarity with Next.js and TypeScript is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of Node.js and back-end development (REST APIs, forms, authentication)
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or similar) and SQL
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Prisma, Git and GitHub is a plus
- Awareness of SEO basics (metadata, page speed, semantic HTML) is a bonus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidelines, write clear comments and documentation, and manage time independently
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is beneficial Internship Details
