- Design and develop submersible pump components, assemblies and mechanical systems.
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing specifications.
- Perform component sizing, dimensional calculations and design validation.
- Coordinate with production, purchase and quality teams for smooth manufacturing.
- Modify existing designs based on production requirements and customer specifications.
- Ensure designs meet quality, performance, cost and manufacturability requirements.
- Maintain engineering drawings, design documents and revision records.
- Support prototype development, testing and troubleshooting of pump components. Required
Skills:
- Solid knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of mechanical design, GD&T;, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of pumps, shafts, impellers, casings and other mechanical components will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Qualification: Diploma / B.
