Study Abroad Counsellor Role & Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, and financial preferences.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, and courses based on student profiles.
- Provide information about admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and intakes.
- Assist students with university applications and admission procedures.
- Guide students with documentation, SOP, LOR, and other application requirements.
- Provide guidance on student visa documentation and application procedures.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into successful admissions.
- Maintain regular communication with students throughout the admission process.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission conversion targets.
- Maintain accurate student records and follow-up details. Preferred Candidate Profile




- Minimum 1 year of experience in Study Abroad Counselling.
- Good knowledge of overseas education destinations and university admission processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented with the ability to convert leads into admissions.
- Experience in UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Ireland, or European education counselling will be an added advantage.
