Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining product designs, creating detailed engineering drawings, and preparing 3D models using CAD software. Daily tasks include collaborating with mechanical and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, reviewing specifications and standards, and performing calculations to validate design integrity. The role involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, resolving design-related issues on the shop floor, and updating documentation based on testing and feedback.



The Design Engineer will also participate in cross-functional meetings, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and ensure all designs comply with safety and quality requirements. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial or manufacturing applications.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and their practical application in forged or machined components.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or similar).
- Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts as they relate to equipment and production systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and customer specifications with solid attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, quality, and management teams.
- Problem-solving mindset, willingness to work on-site in a factory environment, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Prior experience in forging, metal components, or heavy manufacturing is a plus.
