We create experiences that connect people with artisans, crafts, stories and the cultural heritage of India.

About the Role
We’re looking for a curious and motivated Backend Intern to help build and improve the technology behind Craft Connect. You’ll work closely with the technical team on backend development, APIs, databases and the systems that power our platform. What You’ll Work On
* Develop and maintain backend APIs and server-side functionality
* Work with databases and data models to support platform features
* Build and integrate APIs for frontend and backend services
* Assist with authentication, authorization and application security
* Debug, test and improve backend functionality and performance
* Work with the team to design and implement current product features
* Assist with deployment, cloud services and production systems
* Contribute to full-stack features when required Who We’re Looking For




* Strong interest in backend development and software engineering
* Basic understanding of programming, APIs and databases
* Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java or a similar language
* Familiarity with REST APIs, Git and GitHub is a plus
* Curious, analytical and willing to learn and experiment
* Interest in web development, cloud technologies or building products is a plus What You’ll Get
