Senior Accountant Berkeley Hyundai | Experienced Professionals Berkeley Hyundai is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of automobile dealership accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting. Position: Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, ledger, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of applicable statutory returns.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely settlements.
- Handle accounting related to vehicle sales, purchases, accessories, insurance, finance, and workshop operations.
- Verify invoices, vouchers, payments, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.




- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
- Support management with MIS reports, financial analysis, and other accounting information. Candidate Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in an automobile dealership will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, and financial accounting.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
