We work across Architecture, Interiors, Project Advisory and Execution, with a strong emphasis on design quality, technical detailing and execution excellence. We are looking for an Architectural Draftsman / Technical Drawing Assistant who can support our design team in translating architectural concepts into accurate, detailed and construction-ready drawings.

About the role
The candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing 2D architectural drawings, working drawings, construction details and documentation based on the design direction provided by the Architect / Design Head. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good knowledge of architectural drafting and the ability to understand drawings, dimensions, materials and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings from design concepts.
- Prepare working drawings and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. Develop architectural details including:
- Flooring layouts
- False ceiling layouts
- Door & window details
- Staircase details
- Toilet details
- Kitchen details
- Furniture layouts
- Wall elevations
- Joinery details
- Material and finish details
- Assist in preparing interior working drawings and technical documentation.
- Convert sketches, marked-up drawings and design instructions into precise CAD drawings.
- Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations and sheet formatting.
- Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural,



MEP and interior requirements.
- Revise drawings based on comments from the Architect / Design Head.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Assist the design team in preparing drawing sets for client presentations and site execution.
- Review drawings for basic dimensional and coordination errors before issue.
- Coordinate with the project/site team whenever required to clarify technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings are issued within agreed timelines. Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, sections and elevations.
- Positive knowledge of dimensions, scales, levels and annotations.
- Understanding of basic building construction and architectural detailing.
- Ability to work accurately with minimal errors.
- Good organisational and file-management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of any of the following will be an advantage:
- SketchUp
- Revit
- Photoshop
- Enscape / Lumion
- Basic interior detailing
- Quantity take-offs / BOQ

Education:
Diploma / B.
