- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Source wires, cables, connectors, terminals, and other electrical components.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Prepare and monitor purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with production, planning, stores, quality, and finance teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and delivery reliability.
- Manage procurement budgets, MIS reports, and purchase documentation.
- Lead the purchase team and support strategic sourcing initiatives, depending on the position level.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in wire harness manufacturing, automotive components, electrical and electronics manufacturing, or a related manufacturing industry is preferred. Knowledge of wires, cables, connectors, terminals, and electrical components will be an advantage.
