Unichem Laboratories Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated instrumentation officer to join its engineering department at the Pithampur API manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliable operation of instrumentation and control systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
Role & responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems and field instruments.
- Perform calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation-related faults and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
- Maintain and support PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, as applicable.
- Ensure proper functioning of control loops,
transmitters, sensors, and other instrumentation devices.
- Support qualification activities for instrumentation and control systems.
- Maintain calibration records, maintenance logs, and other relevant engineering documentation.
- Follow applicable GMP, safety, and EHS requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and other engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
Preferred candidate profile
3-5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical API manufacturing plant
