Job Description

We are conducting a walk-in drive for experienced Automotive Interiors NPD CAD Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in CATIA V5, 3DX, and Teamcenter.

Candidates should have experience in automotive interior component design, new product development, CAD modelling, engineering changes, and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automotive interior components from concept to final design and release.
- Develop CAD models using CATIA V5, including Part Design, Surface Design, and Drafting.
- Work on interior components such as Instrument Panels (IP), Centre Consoles (CNSL), Air Vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, and Door Trims.
- Perform packaging studies, master section creation, and digital pre-assembly.
- Interpret engineering requirements and apply GD&T; to completed designs.
- Ensure CAD quality and compliance with automotive design standards.
- Participate in engineering design reviews and resolve design-related issues.
- Manage new part development and ongoing product engineering changes.




- Coordinate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to meet project milestones.
- Support benchmarking, cost reduction, and product cost-target achievement.
- Understand prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes for automotive interior components.
- Use Teamcenter, VisMockup, and team-oriented engineering tools for design reviews and product development.
- Apply problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and Six Sigma.
