ABOUT THE COMPANY

AMPIRE FINANCE PVT. LTD. is a financial services organisation focused on building and scaling technology-enabled businesses across lending, financial products, investments and allied financial services. As the organisation enters its next phase of growth, we are looking for a seasoned finance leader to build a robust, scalable and governance-led finance function.

WHY THIS ROLE

This is a strategic finance leadership position extending beyond traditional accounting and compliance. The Head Finance will build the financial infrastructure required to support a high-growth financial services organisation, covering financial planning, treasury, MIS, controllership, taxation, capital management, business finance, governance and strategic decision support.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning. • Develop financial models for business expansion, profitability and capital requirements.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership.

• Monitor business performance against budgets and strategic objectives.

2. FP&A; & Business Finance

• Establish a robust FP&A; framework across business verticals.

• Track revenue, operating expenses, contribution margins, EBITDA and profitability.

• Develop business-unit and product-level unit economics.

• Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.

3. Treasury & Capital Management

• Own treasury operations, liquidity planning and cash-flow management.





• Develop rolling cash-flow forecasts and capital utilisation plans.

• Support debt/equity fundraising and manage relationships with banks, lenders and financial institutions.

• Monitor borrowing costs, repayment schedules and financial obligations.

4. Financial Controllership

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting.

• Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial statements.

• Establish strong accounting policies, financial controls and approval mechanisms.

• Build CEO and Board-level financial dashboards and MIS.

5. Lending & Financial Services Finance

• Develop finance frameworks for lending and financial-services businesses.

• Monitor disbursements, collections, settlements, commissions, partner payouts and reconciliations.

• Ensure appropriate revenue recognition and financial reporting.

• Develop profitability reporting across products, channels and business partners.

6. Compliance, Tax & Audit

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and corporate requirements.

• Drive statutory, internal and tax audits.

• Work closely with Legal & Compliance on financial and regulatory matters.

• Strengthen SOPs,



internal controls and governance frameworks.

7. Strategic & Commercial Finance

• Act as a finance partner to the CEO and CXO leadership team.

• Evaluate recent businesses, products, partnerships and investments from a financial perspective.

• Prepare financial feasibility and ROI analysis for strategic initiatives.

• Support management in capital allocation and investment decisions.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 1218+ years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A;, Controllership, Treasury or Business Finance.

• CA / MBA Finance / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Experience in NBFC, Fintech, Lending, BFSI, Financial Services or high-growth businesses preferred.

• Robust understanding of financial modelling, accounting, taxation and corporate finance.

• Experience with debt fundraising, treasury and financial-institution relationships will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and commercial orientation.

• Proven ability to build finance processes and teams from the ground up.

• Comfortable working directly with CXO and Board-level stakeholders.
