Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex server, storage, and network issues.
- Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams during projects and deployments.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
- Ensure systems meet organizational security, performance, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 610+ years of experience in systems administration.
- Robust knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).




- Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or RHCE
- ITIL Foundation
