Role & responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance

- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, agitators, conveyors, screens, clarifiers, filters, blowers, thickeners, valves, and piping systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, alignment, and condition monitoring.

2. Equipment Reliability & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Support equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Shutdown & Maintenance Planning

- Coordinate with production and utility teams during shutdowns, start-ups, and equipment overhauls.
- Support maintenance planning and execution for Fiber Line, WTP, and utility equipment.
- Ensure the availability of critical spares, tools, and maintenance consumables.

4. Documentation, Systems & Safety

- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and work order closure through SAP PM or other maintenance management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, housekeeping standards, and statutory requirements.
