Job Description - INTERIOR DESIGNER

Location * : Mumbai Sion east, Its opposite Kings circle station.

Employment Type : Full-time

Experience : 1 to 4 years

Job Profile : Jr. Interior Designer and Sr. Interior Designer

ABOUT THE STUDIO

A residential interior design studio based in Mumbai , specialising in thoughtfully

designed, functional and aesthetically refined living spaces. We create personalised interiors that balance creativity,

practicality, material quality and attention to detail.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer to contribute to residential projects from concept

development through execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop creative, functional interior concepts for apartments, villas and independent homes.

* Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, working drawings and design presentations.

* Create 2D drawings and 3D visualisations using AutoCAD, SketchUp and V-Ray.

* Select materials, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting and accessories within project budgets.

* Prepare detailed drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, ceiling designs and customised furniture.

* Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, carpenters and modular factories.

* Conduct site visits,



take measurements and monitor execution against approved designs.

* Assist with BOQs, material specifications, cost estimates and project documentation.

* Resolve site-related design issues and help maintain quality and project timelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

* Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field.

* Minimum 2 years of relevant residential interior design experience.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and V-Ray.

* Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture detailing and interior construction.

* Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and execution details.

* Valuable visualisation, presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.

* Strong coordination and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.

PREFERRED QUALITIES

A strong eye for detail and contemporary residential design; practical knowledge of site execution; creative thinking;

willingness to take ownership; and a professional, collaborative approach to clients and colleagues.
