Project pursuit and Customer approval Manager (3.3): Steel
Project Pursuit and Market Analysis
- Identifying opportunities in current projects and MRO business.
- Tracking projects and visiting all stakeholders in the market.
- Understanding barriers to entry, local regulations, and market needs.
Technical Engagement and Solutioning
- Preparing application notes and technical presentations.
- Visiting EPCs and End Clients.
- Acting as the primary point of contact during the pursuit phase.
- Proposing right solutions.
Project Qualification and Execution
- Taking ownership of qualifying projects by specking.
- Driving the complete vendor registration process.
- Delivering the right technical pitch and differentiating from competition.
- Conducting product trials and demos.
Sales Transition
- Supporting the transition from the pursuit phase to field sales.
- Ensuring all technical requirements are clear and well-documented.
Communication and Collaboration
- Presenting technical information to key decision-makers.
- Anticipating challenges and addressing them proactively from start to end.
- Collaborating with plant engineering, maintenance, and instrumentation teams.

Experience Requirements
- 7–10 Years in related field
Additional Requirements
- 7-10 years of work-ex in the Steel industries, particularly in plant maintenance/shutdown, service of pneumatic/instrumentation products (SOVs, Pulse Jet Valves, Pneumatic Actuators, Compressor, AFRs, Quick Exhaust Valves, Volume Boosters, On-Off Valves, Control Valves and other instrumentation products).
- Strong knowledge of applications for valve automation systems – in steel industry.
- Awareness/knowledge of the domestic & global market, international standards like ASME, API, ANSI, PED, GOST etc. and specifications/testing requirements for valve automation systems in relevant industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present technical information to key decision-makers.
