Technical Presales & Solution Consulting

- Understand customer requirements related to mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, and engineering workflows.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with engineering managers, design heads, manufacturing teams, and decision-makers.
- Recommend suitable Autodesk solutions based on customer requirements, existing software, and business challenges.
- Support the sales team with technical presentations, product comparisons, solution proposals, and customer meetings.
- Identify opportunities for Autodesk PDMC adoption, upgrades, cross-selling, and workflow modernization.

2. Autodesk Product Demonstrations & Proof of Concept

- Deliver technical demonstrations of Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, AutoCAD Mechanical, Vault, and other relevant Autodesk manufacturing solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations highlighting 3D mechanical design, assemblies, drawings, sheet metal, and design automation.
- Develop customer-specific proof of concepts (POCs) and sample workflows.
- Demonstrate collaboration, design data management, and engineering productivity improvements.
- Support product evaluations, technical trials, and pilot implementations.

- Provide technical guidance on 2D-to-3D CAD migration and design standardization.
- Demonstrate parametric modeling, assembly design, BOM generation, and drawing automation.
- Explain CAD data management, revision control, and engineering change management.
- Identify opportunities for CAD/CAM integration, simulation, and design automation.
- Engage with customers in automotive, industrial machinery, fabrication, sheet metal, and engineering manufacturing industries.

5. Sales Enablement & Business Development Support





- Work closely with the Autodesk sales team to qualify technical opportunities and improve conversion rates.
- Participate in customer visits, technical discussions, and solution workshops.
- Prepare technical solution documents, presentations, and competitive comparisons.
- Support opportunities involving migration from SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, Creo, Siemens NX, and other CAD platforms where technically appropriate.
- Assist in developing proposals, technical scope documents, and bills of materials.
- Support Autodesk subscription renewals through technical engagement and identification of additional requirements.

6. Webinars, Workshops & Technical Marketing

- Conduct Autodesk PDMC webinars, customer workshops, and technical awareness sessions.
- Support industry-specific campaigns targeting manufacturing and engineering organizations.
- Create demonstration materials, technical presentations, and customer use cases.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team on technical content, webinars, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Participate in Autodesk partner training, certifications, and technical enablement programs.

7. Implementation & Customer Success

- Support initial product deployment, configuration, and onboarding.
- Assist customers with software adoption and workflow optimization.
- Provide basic technical troubleshooting and coordinate complex issues with Autodesk support.
- Identify opportunities for paid training, implementation, customization, and consulting services.
- Maintain technical engagement with customers to encourage long-term adoption and retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Diploma candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor and mechanical 3D CAD workflows.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes,



mechanical assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with Autodesk PDMC products and licensing concepts.
- Knowledge of BOM management, design documentation, and CAD data management.
- Ability to conduct technical demonstrations and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Understanding of CAD interoperability and migration challenges.
