Role & responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for PPE products, safety garments, fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials to support production plans and customer commitments.
- Work closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Source innovative fabrics and technical materials that comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits and periodic performance evaluations based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Monitor market trends, raw material price movements, and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, sustainability requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Manage RFQs, vendor quotations, purchase negotiations, and sourcing documentation.




- Resolve supply chain issues and ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Drive continuous cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within PPE, safety garments, workwear, technical textiles, or apparel manufacturing.
- Robust knowledge of fabrics, trims, accessories, technical textiles, vendor development, and strategic sourcing.
- Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, contract management, and procurement planning.
- Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
