Job Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented candidates for a Bengali Audio Annotation Project (Tripura Dialect). The selected candidates will be responsible for listening to audio recordings in Bengali, particularly the Tripura dialect, and accurately transcribing spoken content into written text while maintaining linguistic accuracy and adhering to project-specific guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Listen to Bengali audio recordings in the Tripura dialect and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text.
- Understand regional vocabulary, pronunciation, accents, and commonly used expressions in Tripura.
- Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Follow project-specific audio annotation guidelines and quality standards.




- Review and proofread transcripts to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Handle audio files and related project information confidentially.
- Complete assigned tasks within the stipulated timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

- Native speakers of Bengali (Tripura dialect) are preferred. Candidates with excellent knowledge of the regional language may also apply.
- Strong Bengali listening, comprehension, reading, and writing skills are essential.

Proficiency in Bengali typing is mandatory.

- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with typing tools are required.
- A stable broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps is mandatory.
- Must be available to work 6 days a week for 9 hours per day, including breaks, as per project requirements.
- Must be available for immediate joining.

Significant Information

- This is a fully remote, work-from-home contractual project.
- The project duration is 3 months.
- Only morning and evening shifts are available; no night shifts are required.
- Candidates must have the necessary Bengali language and typing skills to qualify.
