About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud security, networking, monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting. The candidate will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure App Services, and related services.
- Manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, and DNS.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and access policies.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and routine operational tasks using Azure CLI, PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability configurations using appropriate Azure services.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize service disruptions.
- Optimize Azure resource utilization and cloud expenditure by implementing cost-monitoring,



resource-tagging, and cost-optimization practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development, security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments, cloud migrations, and environment management.
- Follow organizational policies and industry best practices for cloud governance, compliance, security, and operational management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
- Valuable understanding of core Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure App Services, and Azure Monitor.
- Practical experience with Azure networking, identity and access management, security configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, cost management, and resource governance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices, incident management, and change management processes.
